2026 HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS AT STEW LEONARD’S IN NEWINGTON

 

WHAT:

Stew Leonard’s in Newington is kicking off the 2026 holiday season with a full lineup of family-friendly festivities, including Santa’s grand arrival, photo opportunities, cooking classes, and a special Breakfast with Santa!

 

Except where noted, cooking class pricing is per child and registration is required at least 24 hours in advance via Eventbrite.com (search for "Stew Leonard's in Newington"). Refunds will be issued only if cancellation notice is received at least 24 hours prior to class time. All classes take place in Stew Leonard’s Executive Kitchen on the second floor. Children ages 2–5 must be supervised by an accompanying adult; older children do not require adult supervision.

Santa Claus Arrives at Stew’s!

  • Thursday, December 3, 2026 | 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Santa arrives at 5:30 p.m.)
  • Cost: FREE (No registration required)

Santa Claus makes his grand entrance on a festive Newington Fire Department truck to light the Stew Leonard’s Christmas tree! Join Wow the Cow, Cynthia the Chick, and Daphne the Duck as Santa and his helpers greet families with candy canes, complimentary cookies, and hot cocoa.

 

Meet Santa Claus at Stew’s!

  • Monday – Friday: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Special Hours (Dec. 12 & 13): 12:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Cost: FREE

Families are invited to take a complimentary photo with Santa Claus in the Candy Shop at Stew Leonard’s in Newington.

 

Breakfast with Santa & Stew’s Costumed Characters

  • Saturday, December 12, 2026 & Sunday, December 13, 2026
  • Seatings: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
  • Admission: $17.99 for children ages 11 and under | $19.99 for guests ages 12 and over | FREE for children under 2

Enjoy a festive buffet breakfast with Santa and friends featuring scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, bagels, fresh fruit, donuts, coffee, and hot cocoa! Every child will also get to decorate a wooden ornament to take home. Tickets go on sale starting November 1, 2026, via Eventbrite.com (limited seating available).
