City Of Yonkers To Honor New York Yankees On 25th Anniversary Of Their 1999 World Series Victory And Anniversary Of Stew Leonard’s
YONKERS MAYOR TO JOIN POLICE AND FIRE DEPATRTMENT OFFICIALS WITH CHILDREN AND LIVE COWS AS THEY TOAST MILK TO CELEBRATE THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF STEW LEONARD’S IN YONKERS
YONKERS, NY – City of Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano and Stew Leonard Jr. will honor a group of 1999 New York Yankees players, including famed NY Yankees coach Willie Randolph, to commemorate the team’s 25th anniversary of their World Series win. City officials will also honor Stew Leonard Jr. and his staff for the 25th anniversary of Stew Leonard’s in Yonkers.
The store serves over 2 million customers and residents a year. In celebration Stew Leonard’s in Yonkers will be giving out free ice cream to children until 3pm Today.
Police and fire department officials will join children and live cows as they toast with milk to celebrate Stew Leonard’s anniversary. Stew Leonard Jr. will also be making a donation to the City of Yonkers first responders.
Stew Leonard’s is the World’s largest dairy store and has been dubbed the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores”.
