2023 HALLOWEEN HAPPENINGS AT STEW LEONARD’S IN DANBURY
Stew Leonard’s in Danbury, Conn. has announced their 2023 Halloween Events Calendar taking place during the months of September and October.
Halloween Drive Through
Friday, September 29 – Tuesday, October 31, 2023
Open during store hours
Starting on September 29, cars will follow a family-friendly Halloween Drive Through, featuring inflatable pumpkins, a spooky tunnel of spiders, and many of kids’ favorite Halloween cartoon characters! Customers can also tune their car’s radio to a special radio station where Clover the Cow’s spooky Halloween soundtrack will delight kids of all ages. This free event is open daily through Halloween.
Halloween Hay Bale Theater
Friday, October 13 and Friday, October 27, 2023
6:00-7:30 p.m.
This October 2023, Stew’s Hoedown will be transformed into a Hay Bale Theater to show a free children’s Halloween-themed movie! The movies will be shown on Friday, October 13 and Friday, October 27 at 6 p.m. The doors open 15 minutes in advance and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Trick or Treat with Stew Leonard’s Characters

4 – 5:30 p.m.
Children ages 8 and younger are invited to dress in their costumes and come to Stew Leonard’s in Danbury to go trick-or-treating. Clear goodie bags will be provided to children to collect their candy as they visit trick-or-treating stations throughout the store. Stew Leonard’s famous characters, including mascot Wow the Cow, will be available for taking photos with the children.
Due to a high level of interest from our shoppers, Stew Leonard’s in Danbury will offer free tickets to the Trick-or-Treat event to 225 kids. The event will have timed entry so that the store does not become overcrowded; this is for the safety and comfort of all our customers. Families can register for the free tickets via EventBrite.com starting on October 1, 2023.
Plus, all kids under age 12 who wear their Halloween costume to Stew Leonard’s in Danbury on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, will receive a free small ice cream cone at our Ice Cream Parlor.
