Stew's Spiral Cut Ham
Our local spiral cut ham is extra trimmed and cured with a distinctive blend of brown sugar and spices, then slow cooked in a hickory smokehouse right in New Haven, Connecticut. This is a tender, fall-off-the-bone, country-style spiral ham that will be the centerpiece of your holiday celebration.
Pasture Raised Lamb
Stew Leonard’s NAKED lamb is raised naturally and humanely in the green pastures of New Zealand on a family-run farm that’s been in business for more than 100 years. In fact, New Zealand is so pristine and has such an ideal climate for raising sheep that there are more sheep than people (seriously…there are about 5 million Kiwis but more than 25 million sheep)! This lamb is raised on mother’s milk and fed exclusively on fresh grasses, like clover, rye and alfalfa, resulting in a lean meat with a mild flavor and superior tenderness. Plus, Stew’s butchers will trim NAKED lamb to any specifications, making it easier to prepare and enjoy at home. Halal certified.
Stew Leonard’s American lamb is sourced from second-generation farmers Wanye and Martha Marcho in the Pennsylvania Dutch region of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The Marchos partner with over one hundred Amish family farms whose animals are humanely cared for, fed a clean, nutritious, healthy diet, and raised in a safe, low-stress environment. The result? Tender, rich, and meaty top-quality lamb.
