Passport to Taste & Flavor: Stew Leonard’s of N.J. Hosts First-Ever
Food & Wine Festival
PARAMUS, NJ (September 30, 2024) – Stew Leonard’s chefs and wine specialists are taking over the farm fresh food store’s Garden State locations with their first-ever Food & Wine Festival! The Paramus location will host the event on Saturday, October 12 while the Clifton location’s event will take place on Saturday, October 19. Both festivals will run from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. and feature samples of Stew Leonard’s most-loved dishes alongside our best-selling wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.
Customers will be given a tasting “passport” to use as they eat and drink their way through the food & wine festival. A Stew Leonard’s Team Member will stamp their passport at each tasting station. Customers who visit all nine tasting stations are invited to turn in their passports at customer service for a commemorative Stew Leonard’s Food & Wine Festival pin.
Highlights of the Food & Wine Festivals include:
- Stew’s tender and juicy Filet Mignon, direct from our Midwest ranchers, paired with Seghesio Zinfandel wine, made by a family that’s been producing wine in the Sonoma Valley for over 125 years.
- Fresh oysters, harvested daily from the pristine waters of Prince Edward Island, paired with Matua Sauvignon Blanc wine, a crisp and bright foil to the saltiness of the oysters.
- Crispy fried chicken wings paired with Chandon Sparkling wine from the Napa Valley. Sommeliers around the world love sharing this unexpected duo! The wine’s acidity and effervescence cut through the richness of the fried chicken to cleanse the palate and enhance the flavors.
This menu is in addition to a slate of pairings from throughout Stew Leonard’s food and wine stores, including Banana Chocolate Chunk Cake with Athletic Brewing Company’s non-alcoholic beer, sushi rolls with Nozeco Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Spritz, and cheese & charcuterie with Ciligielo Italian Red wine, among others.
The event is complimentary and there is no need to register in advance.
