2025 HALLOWEEN HAPPENINGS AT STEW LEONARD’S IN DANBURY

Stew Leonard’s in Danbury, Conn. has announced its Halloween Events Calendar for September and October 2025.

Halloween Drive Through

Friday, September 26– Friday, October 31, 2025

Open during store hours

Starting on September 26, cars will follow a family-friendly Halloween Drive Through, featuring inflatable pumpkins, a spooky tunnel of spiders, and many of kids’ favorite Halloween cartoon characters! Customers can also tune their car’s radio to a special radio station where Clover the Cow’s spooky Halloween soundtrack will delight kids of all ages.  This free event is open daily through Halloween.

Pumpkin Palooza 

October 11 - 12, 2025

11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Stew’s Garden Shop is bursting with local pumpkins!  Those who purchase a pumpkin at Stew’s in Danbury on October 11 or 12 between 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. are invited to a complimentary pumpkin painting event outdoors under the Garden Shop’s tent.  No advance registration is necessary.

Stew’s Halloween-Themed Canvas Painting for Kids

Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 11 a.m. -12:30 p.m.

Have a little artist at home? Have them join us at Stew Leonard's in Danbury and enjoy our canvas painting event!  Each child will be provided with the necessary supplies as an instructor guides them step-by-step to create a masterpiece.  The canvas painting will be Halloween-themed and there will also be a surprise visit from store mascot Wow the Cow.  Pizza and snacks will be provided.  The price is $20 per child. Parents or caretakers do not need a ticket; however, they are asked to accompany their child to this class. Families can register for the tickets via EventBrite.com starting on October 1, 2025.   

Trick or Treat with Stew Leonard’s Characters  

Tuesday, October 28, 2025

4 – 5:30 p.m. 

Children ages 8 and younger are invited to dress in their costumes and come to Stew Leonard’s in Danbury to go trick-or-treating. Goodie bags will be provided to children to collect their candy as they visit trick-or-treating stations throughout the store.  Stew Leonard’s famous characters, including mascot Wow the Cow, will be available for taking photos with children.

Due to a high level of interest from our shoppers, Stew Leonard’s in Danbury will offer free tickets to the Trick-or-Treat event for 225 kids. Families can register for the free tickets via EventBrite.com starting on October 1, 2025.

Plus, all kids age 12 and under who wear their Halloween costume to Stew Leonard’s in Danbury on Tuesday, October 31, 2025, will receive a free small ice cream cone at our Ice Cream Parlor.
