“Produce Pete” Napolitano to Sign Copies of New Cookbook at Stew Leonard’s in Clifton
CLIFTON, NJ (October 10, 2025) – Farm fresh food grocer Stew Leonard’s will welcome longtime friend, renowned fruit and vegetable expert, author, and TV personality Pete Napolitano to their Clifton store on Saturday, October 18 from 10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Alongside co-author Susan Bloom, Napolitano and his wife Bette, an avid cook and baker, will sign copies of their new cookbook, In the Kitchen with Bette & Produce Pete. The delightful new cookbook offers a heartwarming glimpse into the Napolitano’s heritage through cherished family recipes, memories, tips, and anecdotes from their own kitchen as well as those of their extended “family” of close friends, colleagues, and relatives.
In the Kitchen with Bette & Produce Pete will be available for sale, as will Produce Pete-branded aprons, oven mitts, and more.
About the Authors
With over 70 years of experience in the produce industry, "Produce Pete" Napolitano has appeared on a highly popular segment on NBC's Weekend Today in New York broadcast every Saturday morning for 30 years. In the Kitchen with Bette & Produce Pete follows the success of Pete’s first book, Produce Pete’s Farmacopeia, and his recent memoir, They Call Me Produce Pete.
Bette Napolitano, Pete's beloved wife of 58 years, is an avid cook and baker who has appeared on NBC 4 New York's Weekend Today in New York show with Pete over the years. In the Kitchen with Bette & Produce Pete is her first book.
Napolitano’s co-author, Susan Bloom, is an award-winning writer whose work has appeared in such New Jersey-based publications as The Star-Ledger, The Asbury Park Press, New Jersey Monthly Magazine, and Jersey's Best Magazine as well as such national mediums as The New York Times, USA Today, The New York Daily News, and Natural Awakenings.
