Grilled BBQ Cheeseburgers

Get back to cheeseburger basics with this recipe for barbecued cheeseburgers. They’re so good and cheesy, It’ll remind you of why you love grilling in the first place.

Ingredients
- 4 Stew's Fresh Ground Beef Chuck Patties
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- Stew's Kosher Salt
- Stew's Fine Ground Black Pepper
- 3 Tbsp. Stew's Bar-B-Q Sauce
- 8 slices Stew's Yellow American Cheese
- 4 Sesame topped hamburger buns, toasted on the grill on each side
- 4 sliced Beefsteak tomato
- Iceberg Lettuce, shredded
Directions
- Heat a gas grill to high (450°F).
- Brush the grill grates evenly with the vegetable oil.
- Season the patties on both sides with salt and pepper. Grill until golden brown and slightly charred, about 5-6 minutes per side, brushing occasionally with the barbecue sauce while they’re cooking.
- Add two cheese slices to each burger about 1 minute before they’re done cooking. Cover to melt the cheese and finish cooking. Remove the burgers to a platter.
- Place the buns on the grill to lightly toast.
- Add a cheeseburger to each bottom bun. Brush with additional B-B-Q Sauce. Top each with a slice of tomato and the shredded lettuce. Place on the top buns.
