Chef Alex's Philly Cheesesteak

While he is a New Yorker born and bred, Stew’s Leonard’s Chef Alex is a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan! He likes using shaved ribeye for his Philly Cheesesteak – it’s tender and flavorful.

Ingredients
- 4 fresh baked Grinder Rolls
- 1.5 lbs. of shaved Ribeye Meat
- 1.5 cups of Stew's Mac & Cheese Blend Shredded Cheese
- 1 Onion, rough chopped
- 1 teaspoon Stew's Salted Butter
- Stew's Kosher Salt
- Stew's Fine Ground Black Pepper
- Dash of 100% Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
- Sauté your onions in butter. Season salt and pepper to taste.
- While the onions cook, add the oil to your pan or flattop. Cook the meat and season with salt and pepper.
- Once the meat starts to become almost completely brown, add in cheese and mix thoroughly.
- Place meat and cheese mix in the grinder roll and top with onions.
