Family owned and operated farm fresh food store Stew Leonard’s will host a special in-store appearance by baseball legend and Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera to celebrate Mo’s Heat, his new line of Officially Licensed Major League Baseball hot sauces. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Rivera, take photos and sample the new hot sauce collection, which includes three sauces, each inspired by iconic baseball pitch types and designed with distinct flavor personalities:
· The Cutter is the signature sauce, a balanced blend that starts smooth, then builds into a satisfying, lingering heat. Best paired with soups, pastas, meat, fish, shellfish, sandwiches, or even rice and pizza.
· The Curve is bright and herbaceous with a crisp but balanced heat from green habaneros. The freshest of the heats, it pairs well with all your favorite foods.
· The Sinker is the most approachable sauce offering a richer and more rounded flavor, featuring fully ripened peppers with gradual heat and subtle sweetness. Can be best paired with meat, pastas, fish, shellfish, sandwiches or grilled vegetables.
HOW: Fans who purchase a ticket for $19.99 via Eventbrite.com will receive an event package that includes a 3-pack of Mo’s Heat Hot Sauce, access to a dedicated check-in line during the event, and a photo opportunity with Mariano Rivera! Please note that packages are limited to one per customer, and ticket receipts must be presented at event check-in for
pickup. Due to time constraints, Mariano will only be taking photos with package holders and will not be signing personal memorabilia or personalizing bottles. Tickets are non-refundable.
