NEWINGTON’S “NACHO KING” COMES HOME TO CELEBRATE NEW COOKBOOK AT STEW LEONARD’S

Newington native, TV personality, and Connecticut’s ‘Nacho King’ Alex P. Taylor is coming home to Stew Leonard’s in Newington to celebrate his new nationally published cookbook, Totally Nachrageous: Next-Level Nacho Recipes for Parties, Game Days & Crowd-Pleasing Fun! Known to local viewers from WFSB’s Great Day Connecticut and FOX61, and nationally from Bravo’s Below Deck, the longtime Stew Leonard’s fan is bringing his love of food, entertaining, and over-the-top nacho creations back to his hometown.

- Live Demo & Free Samples: Watch Stew Leonard’s whip up one of Taylor’s signature nacho creations featuring farm-fresh Stew Leonard’s ingredients.
- Book Signing & Meet & Greet: Alex will be signing and personalizing copies of Totally Nachrageous, available at a special event price.
- Interactive Show & Tell: Enjoy a guided flip-through of the '80s-inspired hardcover cookbook, featuring stories behind its 70+ fun, approachable recipes (from game-day favorites to dessert nachos!).
During the event, Stew Leonard’s chefs will demo Taylor’s recipe for Firecracker Shrimp Nachos, featuring succulent shrimp piled high on top of crunchy tortilla chips, pepper jack cheese, pico de gallo, and jalapenos.
Stew Leonard’s will sell Totally Nachrageous for the special price of $21.99 during the event.
