Halloween Drive Thru
Saturday, September 26– Saturday, October 31, 2026
Open during store hours
Starting on September 26, cars will follow a family-friendly Halloween Drive Through, featuring inflatable pumpkins, a spooky tunnel of spiders, and many of kids’ favorite Halloween cartoon characters! Customers can also tune their car’s radio to a special radio station where Clover the Cow’s spooky Halloween soundtrack will delight kids of all ages. This free event is open daily through Halloween.
Pumpkin Palooza
Saturday, October 10 & Sunday, October 11, 2026
11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Stew’s Garden Shop is bursting with local pumpkins! Those who purchase a pumpkin at Stew’s in Danbury on October 10 or 11 between 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. are invited to a complimentary pumpkin painting event in the Garden Shop’s tent. No advance registration is necessary.
Touch-a-Truck
Saturday, October 3, 2026
9 - 11 a.m.
Join Wow the Cow and friends in our Danbury parking lot on Saturday, October 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a Touch-a-Truck event! Kids can climb aboard fire trucks, police cars, a school bus, and Stew’s own tractor-trailer, plus enjoy a bounce house and face painting. This event is free and open to all—no tickets needed!
Stew’s Halloween-Themed Bingo for Kids

5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Put on your Halloween costume and join us at Stew Leonard’s in Danbury for a spooky evening of Halloween Bingo! Tickets are $10 per participant and include pizza, snacks, drinks, and plenty of chances to win fun prizes throughout the night. The party runs from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in our Birthday Party Room (located on the south side of the store), but families are welcome to come and go as needed. Registration opens October 1, 2026, on Eventbrite.com—reserve your spot before it fills up!
Trick or Treat with Stew Leonard’s Characters

4 – 5:30 p.m.
Children ages 8 and younger are invited to dress in their costumes and come to Stew Leonard’s in Danbury to go trick-or-treating. Goodie bags will be provided to children to collect their candy as they visit trick-or-treating stations throughout the store. Stew Leonard’s famous characters, including mascot Wow the Cow, will be available for taking photos with children.
Due to a high level of interest from our shoppers, Stew Leonard’s in Danbury will offer free tickets to the Trick-or-Treat event for 300 kids. Families can register for the free tickets via EventBrite.com starting on October 1, 2026.
Plus, all kids aged 12 and under who wear their Halloween costume to Stew Leonard’s in Danbury on Saturday, October 31, 2026, will receive a free small ice cream cone at our Ice Cream Parlor.
